Mesothelioma Awareness Day 2008

As we’ve written about on this blog before, building awareness about mesothelioma is paramount in the effort to keep people safer from asbestos and get mesothelioma patients better treatment options. Good news from the folks at the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation on Mesothelioma Awareness Day, which was this past Friday, September 26.

According to the Meso Foundation, all across the country radio stations played the music of Warren Zevon followed by a short announcement about mesothelioma. Also, lots of cities and states officially declared September 26 “Meso Awareness Day.”

Congratulations to everyone who helped spread the word!
