Lawyer Relishes Sports Collections, But Warns of Fraud

Paul-Lesko-webAlton lawyer Paul A. Lesko attended a sports collectors convention in Rosemont last week during which the head of a Minnesota sports memorabilia company was arrested.

Steven Jensen, chief executive of Vintage Sports Authentics, was charged in federal court in New York City with one count of mail fraud and one count of wire fraud. Jensen stands accused of selling fake baseball jerseys he claimed were worn during games by Alex Rodriguez, Mark McGwire and Albert Pujols.
