Missy Shands Manning is an attorney at Simmons Hanly Conroy. She brings over a decade of experience to her role at the firm, where she supports the family members of clients who have passed away during litigation.

Missy is committed to seeking justice for those who have lost a loved one due to corporate negligence, and she strives to handle each case with the care and attention it deserves.

Navigating Wrongful Death Cases with Compassion

When someone is diagnosed with mesothelioma, injured by a dangerous medication, or otherwise harmed as a result of products they believed were safe, the victim may be able to file a lawsuit against the company responsible for their injuries and pursue compensation.

Tragically, some individuals may pass away before their lawsuit has been resolved. In these cases, the lawsuit will transition from a personal injury claim to include a wrongful death claim that may be continued by the deceased’s loved ones.

When this happens, Missy steps up to help. She works alongside the family, local estate attorney, and the litigation team to make sure any compensation awarded from a legal claim is properly distributed.

“My goal is to honor each client’s memory and ensure their loved ones get the justice they deserve,” said Missy.

By coordinating the details related to the probate proceedings, Missy provides families with the time and space to grieve while fighting on their behalf.

Her compassion and unwavering dedication to those she represents make a meaningful difference in their journey toward closure.
