Amy Garrett makes a difference in people’s lives every day through her work at The Simmons Hanly Conroy. She represents the firm’s clients all over the country who are suffering from asbestos-related diseases, particularly a cancer called mesothelioma. Due to her work, she is able to give peace of mind to people who do not have long to live.
Garrett decided to pursue law after attending a cousin’s graduation from law school when she was in college. After talking to him about his experience, Garrett decided it was what she wanted to do with her life. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and then attended Washington University School of Law.
